I am a final-year computer engineering student at Karadeniz Technical University, working on machine learning for cybersecurity. Most of my time goes to three questions: how to spot abnormal traffic when you only ever get to see the normal kind, how to tell a hostile link from a benign one when the signal is spread across several modalities, and how to make a retrieval system return the passage it actually used.

That has meant one-class models on medical-device network captures, a three-branch network for QR phishing, and a RAG platform I built and ran on Google Cloud. Everything is built in PyTorch or FastAPI, trained on real datasets rather than toy ones, and reported with numbers I can reproduce.

I am currently looking for a mandatory internship — 40 business days, insurance covered by the university — in cybersecurity, machine learning, data engineering, or software development. Available in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, or remotely.
